Days after Michael Jackson's June 25 death—just two weeks before Sacha Baron Cohen's raunchfest was set to premiere—filmmakers scrambled to remove a scene that could have been deemed distasteful, even by their standards. The flamboyant Austrian fashion plate lured La Toya Jackson to a Hollywood home, sat her on a Mexican laborer, made her eat sushi off the nude body of another, shanghaied her BlackBerry and read out Michael's number, all after asking her to impersonate him.

But what a difference four months makes.

Now, like Edward and Bella or Suri Cruise and seasonally inappropriate garb, Brüno and La Toya are once again back together, with the cut scene restored for the film's forthcoming home video release. But not before resurfacing exclusively right here!

Page Six is reporting that Jessica was seen following The Departed star Leonardo DiCaprio around while sailingÂ on a private yacht during her visit to Cannes:

Jessica SimpsonÂ was at an exclusive party on a private yacht after the Vanity Fair party at the Hotel Du Cap Saturday night, but she wasn’t fitting in with fellow guests. The part-time girlfriend ofÂ John Mayer “spent the whole night following Leonardo DiCaprio around like a lost puppy,” said our source. “He just seemed freaked out and kind of ignored her.” Simpson’s rep could not be reached.

There's been a breakthrough in the Erin Andrews peephole video case. Authorities have arrested Michael David Barrett, 48, Friday night as he arrived on a flight from Buffalo, N.Y. at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, the FBI said in a statement.

Michael David Barrett faces federal charges of interstate stalking for recording the Erin Andrews peephole video, which appears to have been taken at more than one location. Additionally, he is charged trying to sell them to celebrity Web site TMZ and actually posting the videos online.

You'll recall that a video of ESPN's admittedly hot sideline reporter, Erin Andrews, taken via a peephole, was released to the web in February, though it didn't come to the public's attention until July. Ironically, the publicity over the video really hit when ESPN issued a takedown notice for the video.

The FBI stated that while they were unable to identify the eighth location where the Erin Andrews peephole videos were taken, seven of the eight videos posted online were taken through a modified door peephole while the 31-year-old Andrews was alone and disrobed in hotel rooms in Nashville, TN, in September of 2008. They believe David Michael Barrett called hotels until he discovered where Andrews was staying and then requested a hotel next to hers.

I have to ask why did this not raise a red flag with any hotel employees? And why would anyone at said hotels simply say, OK, we'll give you the room next to hers?

David Michael Barrett allegedly tried to sell the Erin Andrews peephole videos to TMZ, but an employee there informed Andrews' attorneys, according to the FBI. Showing Barrett wasn't too bright, in terms of cybercrime, or he would have expected if he used his own computer they might be able to track the IP address and email address back to him, which in fact they did.

The FBI also confirmed that the Erin Andrews peephole videos were likely recorded from a cell phone camera. That certainly explains the graininess of the videos, which in reality were barely worth watching (indeed, I saw them).

David Michael Barrett faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted. That seems rather light, but reports are that Erin Andrews will seek civil charges in the peephole video case, against both Barrett and those who published the videos.

Dear readers, this week is no exception.

Indeed, my freakish obsession with sports' most beautiful sideline reporter, the one and only Erin Andrews, has finally left the long creepish confines of my mind and unleashed its potentially psychotic repercussions on the public. For Jane Heller of Confessions of a She-Fan has thrown down the proverbial gauntlet and kicked my poor self-esteemed ^ss into working my hidden magical charm to -- at the very least -- make contact with her highness... and see where the magic takes me (us).

Fear not! I am no Joba Chamberlain. While my advances may be thwarted on a regular basis, they never cause the receiver to curl her lip in disgust (that generally takes place only once I've gone on to the next ~~victim~~ lovely lady).

So, how will I go about this endeavor? Jane suggests "email/Tweet, Facebook poke, etc"... and while those tools will certainly find good use in my mission, I would like to start with a banging first impression:

When it comes to the religion of baseball, I am anything but laodicean!

Oh, and when it comes to the dance floor, dear Erin, I got moves galore.
